We are looking for an experienced HR Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In this role, you will provide critical support in managing HR operations and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth recruitment, onboarding, and employee management processes. Job Responsibility:
Coordinate job postings and assist supervisors in managing recruitment processes
Prepare and send offer letters to selected candidates
Organize candidate travel arrangements and manage reimbursement processes
Oversee the student employment process, including certification preparation and documentation
Collect and process employment documentation from initial stages through onboarding, lifecycle changes, and employee separations
Enter new employee data into the Banner system, maintaining accuracy and compliance
Update employee records within HRIS systems to reflect changes during their employment
Provide administrative support for HR operations, ensuring efficiency in day-to-day tasks
Collaborate with team members to maintain consistent HR processes and standards
Requirements:
Proven experience in HR operations and administration
Familiarity with HRIS systems and data management
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage onboarding processes and employee documentation
Expertise in preparing offer letters and coordinating job postings
Capability to handle employee relations with professionalism
Proficiency in managing travel arrangements and reimbursement procedures
