We’re seeking an organized, people‑focused HR Specialist to support daily HR operations, employee relations, onboarding, and compliance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, improving processes, and serving as a trusted resource for employees and managers.
Job Responsibility:
Support full-cycle recruiting activities including job postings, screening, scheduling interviews, and coordinating offers
Manage new-permanent onboarding: paperwork, I‑9/E‑Verify, background checks, orientation, and system setup
Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and HR procedures
Maintain HRIS employee records and ensure accuracy of personnel files
Assist with benefits administration (open enrollment, eligibility updates, employee inquiries)
Support employee relations by documenting conversations, helping with investigations, and escalating concerns as needed
Process status changes, promotions, terminations, and other HR transactions
Assist with payroll coordination by verifying timecards and ensuring data accuracy
Ensure HR practices follow federal, state, and local employment laws
Contribute to HR projects, policy updates, training initiatives, and process improvements
Requirements:
2–4 years of HR experience
staffing or high-volume environments are a plus
Strong knowledge of HR practices, onboarding, and employment law basics
Experience with HRIS systems (Workday, SAP, ADP, Paycom, or similar)
Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and follow-through
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred, but experience may be considered in lieu of degree
