Job Responsibility

  • Provide daily support across HR operations, responding to employee and manager questions and helping keep routine processes on track
  • Maintain personnel files and HR records with a high level of accuracy, ensuring documentation is organized, current, and compliant
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including preparing paperwork, tracking required items, and supporting a smooth start-to-work experience
  • Assist with recruiting activity for store leadership openings by partnering with hiring teams, coordinating candidate movement, and supporting hiring workflows
  • Contribute to department restructuring efforts through document preparation, administrative follow-up, and execution of assigned HR tasks
  • Perform manual HR processing within internal systems and support updates across HR platforms as needed
  • Work closely with HR managers to deliver administrative assistance and help balance competing priorities across the team
  • Support employee relations and general HR initiatives by helping resolve routine matters and escalating issues when appropriate

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a human resources generalist or HR specialist capacity
  • Demonstrated background in HR administration, employee record management, and day-to-day operational support
  • Experience coordinating onboarding processes and handling related documentation with strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of HRIS tools and comfort working in environments that involve manual processing
  • Prior experience supporting recruiting activities, ideally including leadership or field-based hiring
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, with onsite presence in Coppell, Texas and remote work on Wednesdays
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to step into an active team environment and contribute quickly
  • Retail or multi-location workforce support experience is preferred
