We are looking for an experienced HR Specialist to join our team in Milford, Ohio. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in fostering relationships with academic institutions, driving recruitment strategies, and ensuring a positive onboarding experience for new hires. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our organization's talent acquisition and employee engagement initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
Build and maintain strong relationships with universities to support recruitment and engagement efforts
Coordinate academic engagements and events in alignment with planned calendars for U.S. colleges
Proactively source candidates from colleges, universities, job boards, and relevant networks to meet hiring and internship demands
Review resumes and applications to identify candidates with the necessary experience for open positions
Develop and implement effective campus recruiting strategies tailored to organizational needs and industry standards
Establish and nurture a network of potential candidates through consistent market research and relationship-building activities
Facilitate engagement with students post-offer to ensure a positive onboarding experience and retention during their first year
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, students, and career services, delivering clear and impactful messages
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper handling of sensitive employee information
Utilize HRIS systems to streamline administrative tasks and improve employee relations processes
Requirements:
Proven experience in human resources administration, including recruitment and onboarding
Familiarity with HRIS systems and their application in managing HR functions
Strong knowledge of employee relations practices and HIPAA regulations
Demonstrated ability to source candidates through various channels, including social media and networks focused on attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing recruitment calendars and academic engagements
Ability to build and maintain relationships with universities and potential candidates, emphasizing attention to detail
Experience in planning and executing campus recruitment strategies effectively
