We are looking for an HR Specialist to join our team in Miami, Florida, in a Contract to Permanent role. This position supports core human resources activities across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding coordination through records administration and employee support. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, sound judgment with confidential information, and a solid understanding of HR operations in a regulated environment. This role requires candidates to be bilingual Spanish.
Job Responsibility:
Manage daily human resources activities by guiding onboarding and separation processes while keeping employee files complete and up to date
Partner with payroll and benefits teams to help ensure timely processing, accurate enrollments, and consistent data maintenance in HR systems
Monitor HR practices for alignment with company standards as well as applicable federal and state employment regulations
Coordinate recruiting logistics by arranging interviews, communicating schedules, and supporting a smooth candidate experience
Safeguard sensitive personnel information by maintaining organized documentation and handling records with a high level of confidentiality
Provide administrative and operational support for performance-related processes and assist with employee relations matters as directed
Contribute to training efforts and participate in HR initiatives and projects that improve day-to-day department effectiveness
Requirements:
Experience supporting HR administration across onboarding, employee documentation, and general personnel processes
Working knowledge of HRIS platforms and confidence entering, updating, and reviewing employee data accurately
Familiarity with payroll coordination and benefits administration in a detail-focused business environment
Understanding of employee relations practices and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion
Knowledge of federal and state employment compliance requirements relevant to HR operations
Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and communication skills for managing multiple priorities
Bilingual Spanish
Nice to have:
Experience working in HIPAA-regulated or similarly confidential environments is preferred
