Robert Half is currently seeking a skilled and dynamic HR Specialist for a growing organization in the South Dayton area. This role calls for 1-2 years of experience in human resources and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture. The HR Specialist will play a pivotal role in managing programs, coordinating initiatives, and ensuring compliance with HR best practices. Job Responsibility:
Administer and manage day-to-day HR operations, including handling employee relations, responding to inquiries, and resolving workplace concerns
oversee recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure timely hiring of candidates for various roles
assist with benefits administration, compensation planning, and employee performance evaluation processes
maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies
provide support for training and development initiatives, including upskilling and mentoring programs to bridge skill gaps
manage employee records within HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP) and ensure all data is accurate and up to date
collaborate with management to implement talent acquisition strategies and workforce planning efforts
support organizational changes and initiatives to drive employee engagement and retention.
Requirements:
1-2 years of HR experience with a focus on areas such as employee relations, benefits, and hiring
strong understanding of HR policies, employment law, and compliance practices
proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, or similar systems)
HR certifications, such as PHR or SHRM-CP, preferred
ability to foster collaborative relationships across departments and management levels
exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
