Job Description:

Robert Half is currently seeking a skilled and dynamic HR Specialist for a growing organization in the South Dayton area. This role calls for 1-2 years of experience in human resources and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture. The HR Specialist will play a pivotal role in managing programs, coordinating initiatives, and ensuring compliance with HR best practices. Job Responsibility:

  • Administer and manage day-to-day HR operations, including handling employee relations, responding to inquiries, and resolving workplace concerns
  • oversee recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure timely hiring of candidates for various roles
  • assist with benefits administration, compensation planning, and employee performance evaluation processes
  • maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies
  • provide support for training and development initiatives, including upskilling and mentoring programs to bridge skill gaps
  • manage employee records within HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP) and ensure all data is accurate and up to date
  • collaborate with management to implement talent acquisition strategies and workforce planning efforts
  • support organizational changes and initiatives to drive employee engagement and retention.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of HR experience with a focus on areas such as employee relations, benefits, and hiring
  • strong understanding of HR policies, employment law, and compliance practices
  • proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, or similar systems)
  • HR certifications, such as PHR or SHRM-CP, preferred
  • ability to foster collaborative relationships across departments and management levels
  • exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
