Job Description:

The HR Specialist Timekeeping will support payroll processes, ensure compliance with legal and labor requirements, and contribute to testing, training, and system functionality documentation while working within deadlines independently and as part of a team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide expert knowledge on requirements, legal background, and labor legislation to both project teams and stores
  • Ensure User Stories and Acceptance Criteria are reviewed and qualified from a value perspective
  • Contribute to design workshops and sprint sessions with business requirements
  • Identify gaps in country and global processes and raise risks to the Country Project Lead
  • Review requirements and specification documents for testability with the Country Test Lead
  • Support and perform testing and training, raising defects with detailed information for vendor understanding
  • Develop content for change activities, communication materials, and training for impacted stakeholders
  • Approve documentation of system functionality

Requirements:

  • Own the entire payroll function and be accountable for its accuracy and timeliness by working with leaders to resolve timekeeping discrepancies, reviewing payroll and government remittances computed by our accountant, and tracking additional payments (e.g., reimbursements, deductions, performance pay, referral bonuses)
  • Analyze, reconcile, and correct any discrepancies or errors related to payroll and benefits
  • Facilitate enrollment of employees into compensation and benefits platforms (e.g., timekeeping and LMS software, payroll bank provider, HMO)

  • Orient and assist employees in the availment of benefits such as leaves, HMO, loans, maternity, sickness, and government subsidies
