Job Description:

Lead the People agenda at a pivotal UK manufacturing site, driving culture, capability, and organisational performance. Proclinical is seeking an HR Site Lead to join a dynamic team at a key manufacturing site in the UK. This role involves driving the HR People Plan to support business strategy, improve performance, and foster cultural change. You will be a formal member of the site leadership team, collaborating across HR functions to deliver impactful solutions aligned with the HR operating model. This position requires a proactive approach to workforce planning, leadership development, and employee engagement.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead cultural change initiatives, organizational changes, and workforce restructuring
  • Develop future workforce mapping, capability planning, succession planning, and talent management strategies
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives across the site
  • Coach and support senior leaders in delivering HR activities and resolving complex queries
  • Build line manager capability through coaching and fostering a positive employee environment
  • Partner with HR delivery channels to implement site-level initiatives and special projects
  • Address industrial relations (IR) issues and collaborate with ER services to enhance performance
  • Act as a liaison for UK IR matters, including managing relationships with unions and co-chairing meetings
  • Support annual pay talks and preparation work
  • Identify HR risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Leverage technology and HR systems to provide data-driven insights for business strategy
  • Promote learning, leadership development, and coaching opportunities
  • Maintain onsite presence for a minimum of three days per week or as needed

Requirements:

  • Proven HR leadership experience in a complex matrix organization, preferably within a regulated manufacturing or production environment
  • Expertise in managing organizational change, workforce planning, and talent strategies
  • Experience delivering HR solutions in operational contexts, including performance management, consultation, and reward issues
  • Familiarity with navigating a complex HR operating model and influencing stakeholders across multiple lines of authority
  • Strong coaching and leadership development skills
  • Ability to manage senior-level appointments and workforce planning
  • Service delivery mindset with a focus on leveraging digital technologies
  • Preferred qualifications include an MBA or relevant advanced degree
  • Must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport
