We are looking for an experienced HR Senior Project Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role will focus on providing strategic guidance and project oversight for human resources activities related to mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, and other corporate transactions. The position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can collaborate with various HR subject matter experts to address integration challenges and ensure the success of employee onboarding, compliance, and organizational design processes.
Job Responsibility:
Lead HR project management efforts for mergers, acquisitions, and related corporate transactions, ensuring deliverables are met on time
Collaborate with HR subject matter experts to address integration concerns, including benefits, compensation, payroll, onboarding, and compliance
Develop and execute project plans that align with corporate goals and timelines
Oversee the onboarding process for employees from acquired entities, ensuring smooth transitions
Provide strategic guidance to HR leadership and corporate teams regarding acquisition processes
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and the employee experience
Build and maintain strong relationships with HR leaders, operational teams, and external vendors involved in acquisitions
Ensure adherence to employment compliance standards throughout acquisition processes
Support HR teams by creating documentation, providing training, and offering solutions to complex challenges
Represent HR in meetings and calls with corporate leadership to address and resolve transaction-related issues
Requirements:
Proven experience in HR project management, particularly in mergers, acquisitions, and corporate transitions
Strong knowledge of HR functions, including payroll, benefits, compensation, compliance, and onboarding
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other project management tools
Exceptional organizational and analytical skills to manage priorities and solve complex challenges
Ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across various levels, including C-suite executives
Experience in process improvement and automation within HR operations
Solid understanding of employment compliance standards and practices
Excellent communication and training skills to support HR team development
