Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HR recruiting specialist to support high-volume hourly staffing in Leeds, Alabama. This onsite opportunity is a Long-term Contract position and offers the chance to manage full-cycle recruitment while partnering with leaders to keep staffing efforts organized, compliant, and efficient. The role is well suited for someone who can balance multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and provide a strong onboarding experience for new employees.

Job Responsibility

  • Direct end-to-end recruitment activities for hourly openings, from candidate outreach and interviews through offer preparation and start-date coordination
  • Organize screening steps such as skills assessments, background reviews, drug testing, employment verification, and completion of onboarding documentation
  • Partner with hiring managers to schedule interviews, evaluate applicants, and support compensation recommendations for selected candidates
  • Track staffing metrics and prepare recurring reports and presentations related to hiring volume, turnover, and retention trends
  • Ensure recruiting and HR documentation aligns with company standards and all applicable local, state, and federal employment regulations
  • Explain and apply company policies related to compensation and benefits while supporting employee questions as needed
  • Deliver orientation sessions, employee communication meetings, and training presentations for new and existing staff
  • Contribute to departmental initiatives and broader HR projects that improve recruiting operations and workforce support
  • Support HR processes that may involve systems or platform-related activities when required by the business

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least 3 years of high-volume recruiting experience, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting with strong organization and time-management skills
  • Demonstrated judgment in handling sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality
  • Solid understanding of employment compliance requirements and standard HR documentation practices
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead orientations and training sessions
