Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented HR/Recruiting Coordinator to support hiring and onboarding activities for a long-term contract position in Carol Stream, Illinois. This role will help create a smooth candidate experience by coordinating interviews, maintaining timely communication, and assisting with pre-employment steps that keep hires on track. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, comfort working in HR systems such as Paycom, and the ability to manage multiple recruiting and administrative tasks with accuracy.

Job Responsibility:

  • Arrange on-site interviews by aligning schedules between candidates and internal team members
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for applicants, providing updates and responding to questions throughout the hiring process
  • Maintain interview calendars and confirm logistics to ensure meetings are scheduled accurately and efficiently
  • Post open positions in the applicant tracking system and help keep job listings current
  • Support onboarding activities by coordinating background checks, drug screenings, and other pre-employment requirements
  • Monitor hiring documentation and follow up on outstanding items to help prevent delays in start dates
  • Assist with recruiting activities such as conducting initial candidate outreach, completing basic screening steps, and supporting sourcing efforts through online job boards and career sites
  • Prepare employment offers and help move selected candidates through the next stages of the hiring process

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting recruiting, HR coordination, or talent acquisition processes in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of onboarding administration, including background checks and pre-employment screening coordination
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms, including Paycom or similar tools
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage calendars, schedules, and multiple open tasks at once
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with candidates and internal stakeholders
  • Understanding of HR administrative practices and compliance-related hiring procedures
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
