We are looking for an HR Recruiter to support hiring efforts for a manufacturing organization in Elmira, New York. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who can drive talent acquisition initiatives while also assisting with day-to-day human resources coordination. The person in this role will help identify candidates with relevant experience, guide them through the hiring process, and contribute to a well-organized HR function.
Job Responsibility
Create and carry out recruiting plans that help attract candidates with relevant experience for a range of positions
Oversee the entire hiring process, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer coordination, and onboarding support for new team members
Build candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing methods and maintain consistent communication with prospective talent
Conduct interviews to evaluate experience, qualifications, and overall fit for open roles within the organization
Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system and ensure recruiting activity is documented in a timely manner
Provide administrative support for HR operations, including data entry, document management, employee communications, and filing
Partner with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to align recruiting efforts with workforce needs and hiring priorities
Requirements
Experience managing full cycle recruiting from sourcing through onboarding
Background in corporate recruiting, preferably within a detail-focused or industrial environment
Ability to source candidates effectively using multiple channels and outreach methods
Experience conducting interviews and assessing candidate qualifications
Proficiency working with an applicant tracking system to manage hiring workflows
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle administrative tasks accurately and efficiently
Clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with candidates, employees, and hiring teams
