Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced HR Recruiter to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Louisville, Kentucky. In this role, you will play a key part in sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. This position offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your recruiting expertise in a fast-paced and focused environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates
  • Manage applicant tracking systems and ensure accurate data entry and database maintenance
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies
  • Perform background checks, drug screenings, and education verifications as required
  • Ensure candidates meet health and vaccination requirements, including proof of immunity and seasonal influenza vaccination
  • Maintain compliance with statewide criminal background checks and sexual abuse registry checks
  • Develop and execute effective recruiting techniques to attract candidates with relevant experience
  • Provide timely updates and communication to hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to enhance recruitment strategies
  • Participate in training sessions to familiarize yourself with company policies, procedures, and systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or at least 2 years of directly related work experience
  • 1-3 years of recruiting experience in corporate or agency settings
  • Strong proficiency in data entry and database management
  • Demonstrated ability to work with urgency and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of background checks, candidate screening processes, and compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with full-cycle recruiting processes and applicant tracking systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with candidates and hiring managers
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines consistently
