Our client in West Springfield, Massachusetts is seeking a Contract HR Recruiter to support high-volume recruiting and onboarding efforts for caregiver and home health positions across Western Massachusetts, with a primary focus on the Springfield area. This is an in-office role ideal for an organized, service-focused recruiting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage a high-volume hiring pipeline.
Job Responsibility:
Manage full-cycle recruiting for caregiver and home health staff, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates
Support a high-volume recruiting pipeline and assist with onboarding approximately 20-25 caregivers at a time
Conduct virtual interviews using Microsoft Teams and guide candidates through each stage of the hiring process
Use applicant tracking systems and onboarding platforms to monitor candidate progress and maintain recruiting activity
Complete new hire onboarding tasks, including I-9 processing, background checks, and credential verification
Provide a high level of candidate support, including troubleshooting issues during the digital onboarding process
Ensure recruiting and onboarding practices remain compliant with applicable state and federal employment regulations
Partner with leadership to support workforce planning and ongoing hiring needs
Contribute to process improvements related to recruiting workflows, automation, candidate experience, and implementation of new systems or AI chatbot tools
Participate in occasional travel to Leominster or Auburn, as well as up to 20% travel for job fairs, recruiting events, and community outreach
Requirements:
Previous experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, HR coordination, or onboarding required
Experience with high-volume hiring preferred, ideally within healthcare, home health, staffing, or other fast-paced environments
Strong working knowledge of applicant tracking systems, virtual interview platforms, and onboarding tools
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain strong attention to detail in a deadline-driven setting
Excellent communication, customer service, and candidate relationship management skills
Familiarity with employment documentation and compliance requirements, including I-9s and background screening, preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams preferred
