We are looking for an HR Recruiter to support staffing efforts for a construction-focused organization. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys building candidate pipelines, guiding staffing activity from intake through onboarding, and partnering with leaders to secure talent that aligns with business needs and workplace culture. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented recruiting specialist who can manage multiple openings, maintain compliance with employment regulations, and represent the organization effectively throughout the staffing process.
Job Responsibility
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including opening requisitions, sourcing talent, coordinating interviews, extending offers, and supporting onboarding activities
Focus on identifying and attracting candidates with experience in field leadership and other priority roles to ensure timely placement across open positions
Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies that strengthen candidate flow while aligning with workforce planning goals and staffing standards
Screen applicants, conduct initial outreach and phone evaluations, and guide staffing teams toward well-matched selections
Prepare and present offers, support compensation discussions within guidelines, and move candidates efficiently through the final stages of onboarding
Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system and provide regular updates on recruiting activity, pipeline status, and staffing progress
Represent the organization effectively in interactions with applicants, agencies, and internal stakeholders to reinforce a positive employer brand
Process recruiting-related invoices and expense documentation to support timely submission and payment
Contribute to team projects and recommend process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce manual work, and expand effective use of technology
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a comparable combination of education and relevant experience
At least 2 years of recruiting experience, including background in sourcing or sales-driven talent acquisition environments
Working knowledge of full-cycle recruitment practices, from requisition intake through offer acceptance and onboarding
Familiarity with employment laws and equal opportunity hiring standards at the local, state, and federal levels
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with candidates, managers, and external partners
Experience using applicant tracking systems and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality
Strong relationship-building and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
