We are looking for an HR Recruiter to support high-volume hiring for a manufacturing operation in Illinois. This contract-to-permanent position is fully onsite and focuses on identifying, screening, and coordinating candidates for skilled trades and production-related roles. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, managing multiple openings at once, and using digital tools to keep the recruiting process organized and efficient.
Job Responsibility
Manage full-cycle recruiting for high-volume manufacturing openings, including mechanics, millwrights, laborers, production staff, and driver-related positions
Review applications, conduct candidate screenings, and evaluate qualifications based on role requirements and hiring priorities
Lead virtual interviews using Microsoft Teams and other video conferencing platforms to move candidates efficiently through the recruitment process
Coordinate interview schedules and arrange meetings between applicants and hiring managers to maintain a smooth recruitment workflow
Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the SuccessFactors applicant tracking system
Use Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Outlook to organize recruiting data, track progress, and communicate with candidates and internal stakeholders
Work onsite in an independent capacity while balancing competing staffing demands across multiple requisitions
Support pre-employment processes, including coordination for all candidates required to undergo background verification and all candidates required to undergo substance testing, in line with recruitment guidelines
Requirements
At least 2 years of recruiting experience, with a strong preference for hiring within labor, manufacturing, or production environments
Demonstrated success managing high-volume recruitment activity across multiple roles at the same time
Experience conducting interviews and candidate screenings in both phone and virtual formats
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook, along with strong overall technical aptitude
Hands-on experience using an applicant tracking system, preferably SuccessFactors
Ability to work 100% onsite in Bridgeview, Illinois and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision
Strong scheduling, communication, and organizational skills to support hiring managers and candidates effectively
