We are looking for an HR Recruiter to support a non-profit organization with contract recruiting needs in Ohio. This contract position focuses on managing the hiring process from outreach through interview coordination, helping hiring leaders connect with talent that matches role requirements in an efficient and organized manner. The ideal candidate brings strong sourcing judgment, interview management experience, and confidence working within an applicant tracking system to keep recruitment activity organized and moving forward.
Job Responsibility
Manage full-cycle recruitment activities for open positions, from job posting and candidate outreach through interview scheduling and offer-stage coordination
Build candidate pipelines by sourcing talent, reviewing applications, and identifying individuals whose backgrounds align with hiring needs
Conduct initial candidate screenings to evaluate experience, communication skills, and overall fit before presenting profiles to hiring managers
Share suitable candidates with hiring leaders in a timely manner and maintain clear communication regarding status, feedback, and next steps
Arrange and coordinate interview logistics, including virtual interview sessions, while ensuring a smooth experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders
Maintain accurate recruiting records within the applicant tracking system and keep job activity updated throughout the hiring process
Support hiring initiatives during a Monday through Friday schedule of approximately 30 to 37.5 hours per week
Contribute to referral-related screening efforts and help strengthen talent identification strategies for priority openings
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in recruiting, including ownership of full-cycle hiring processes
Background in corporate recruiting with the ability to manage multiple openings and competing priorities
Demonstrated strength in sourcing candidates through proactive recruitment methods and pipeline development
Experience conducting candidate interviews and phone or virtual screening conversations
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and the ability to maintain accurate recruiting documentation
Hands-on experience using UKG Ready or similar recruiting technology platforms
Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively with hiring managers and candidates
