Job Description

We are looking for an HR Recruiter to join an organization in Durham, North Carolina. This contract opportunity is ideal for a recruiting specialist who enjoys supporting hiring efforts across multiple business areas while also contributing to core HR operations. The person in this role will help attract experienced talent, coordinate interview and onboarding activities, and provide day-to-day administrative support that keeps the hiring process moving efficiently.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and publish engaging job postings for openings across departments such as accounting, marketing, operations, and technology
  • Identify, source, and evaluate candidates through online platforms, databases, and other recruiting channels to build strong talent pipelines
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews, ensuring an organized and positive experience for candidates and hiring teams
  • Support new employee onboarding by preparing employment documents, assisting with orientation activities, and tracking completion of required paperwork
  • Create internal hiring summaries and recommendations to help stakeholders make informed selection decisions
  • Maintain accurate recruiting records and handle routine HR administrative tasks that support the broader department
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and adjust recruiting strategies based on role requirements

Requirements

  • Experience managing full cycle recruiting processes from sourcing through onboarding
  • Ability to recruit for a variety of roles across multiple functional areas
  • Strong interviewing and candidate screening skills
  • Proficiency with digital sourcing tools, job boards, and other recruiting resources
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage administrative responsibilities alongside recruiting activities
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with candidates, hiring managers, and HR team members
  • A proactive mindset with the flexibility to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities
