We are looking for an experienced HR Recruiter to join our team in Newport News, Virginia. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in managing the recruitment process, ensuring that the organization attracts top talent. This position requires a proactive approach to sourcing, screening, and evaluating candidates, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates
Review and evaluate daily applications for open positions, handling 30-50 submissions per opening
Conduct thorough interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit within the organization
Utilize applicant tracking systems to efficiently manage candidate information and streamline the hiring process
Provide consistent communication to candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive experience
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
Screen intern applications, ensuring alignment with program requirements and organizational goals
Maintain accurate records and documentation of recruitment activities
Leverage bulk communication tools to engage with candidates and streamline outreach
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually enhance recruitment strategies
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting
Proven expertise in conducting interviews and evaluating candidate qualifications
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software
Strong skills in screening applications and identifying top talent
Ability to manage high volumes of applications efficiently and effectively
Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Knowledge of recruitment strategies and industry best practices
Ability to collaborate with team members and hiring managers to achieve staffing goals
