An experienced HR professional is required to support the people and culture function within a busy hospitality setting on a temporary basis. Working closely with the General Manager and department leaders, the role is responsible for maintaining HR processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting day-to-day people matters across the business. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with a hybrid structure combining office-based work, remote work, and occasional travel to Rottnest Island. There is potential for the position to transition to a permanent role.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain employee records and HR systems (HRIS – Tanda)
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
Coordinate probation reviews and documentation
Support recruitment activities and onboarding logistics
Track training, compliance, and personnel records
Respond to HR queries relating to policies, leave, and performance matters
Provide guidance to managers on employee relations matters
Assist with performance management and disciplinary processes
Ensure HR documentation aligns with legislation and internal policies
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar HR professional role
Strong understanding of employee relations and Australian employment legislation
Experience working in a high-volume workforce environment
High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
Able to work independently and manage competing priorities
