Job Description

An experienced HR professional is required to support the people and culture function within a busy hospitality setting on a temporary basis. Working closely with the General Manager and department leaders, the role is responsible for maintaining HR processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting day-to-day people matters across the business. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with a hybrid structure combining office-based work, remote work, and occasional travel to Rottnest Island. There is potential for the position to transition to a permanent role.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain employee records and HR systems (HRIS – Tanda)
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Coordinate probation reviews and documentation
  • Support recruitment activities and onboarding logistics
  • Track training, compliance, and personnel records
  • Respond to HR queries relating to policies, leave, and performance matters
  • Provide guidance to managers on employee relations matters
  • Assist with performance management and disciplinary processes
  • Ensure HR documentation aligns with legislation and internal policies

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar HR professional role
  • Strong understanding of employee relations and Australian employment legislation
  • Experience working in a high-volume workforce environment
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
  • Able to work independently and manage competing priorities
