The HR Process Engineer is an intermediate level position supporting Citi's HR organization. Responsibilities include process analysis, reengineering, project management, and supporting the HR ServiceNow application. The candidate should demonstrate expertise in process optimization, change management, and stakeholder collaboration.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform in-depth evaluation of basic operations and business processes, family procedures, and industry standards for business supported to identify and resolve complex problems
  • Serve as an analytical and/or procedural expert, representing a unit or team on cross function operational processes and project deliverables
  • Liaise with multiple teams across the HR organization
  • Assume informal and formal leadership role within team as well as coach and train new recruits
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
  • Serve as an advisor to HR groups and other partners on HR applications (specifically HR ServiceNow), processes, change impacts, etc.
  • Participate in key stakeholder (process owners, HR teams, systems support and technology teams) meetings to assess scope of strategic needs, educate stakeholders on strategy, and make recommendations for achieving desired impact
  • Partner closely with HR Process Owners and HR teams to monitor the performance of multiple initiatives, projects, and programs as they relate to HR ServiceNow
  • Provide detailed analyses for the overall impacts resulting from Projects and Change Requests
  • Engage in activities related to change management, as necessary
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members
  • Establish yourself as a subject matter expert on the HR ServiceNow application and data-driven advisor on processes within remit, including identifying tangible metrics to monitor and measure the impact of implemented changes.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience (Service Now experience preferred)
  • Experience with automated end-to-end sourcing tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability and experience working in a fast paced, high pressure environment
  • Proven organization and time management skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
  • Strong process reengineering skills, including the ability to understand the why behind processes and offer suggestions on how to streamline and improve functionality and processes
  • Experience in developing project plans and managing individual deadlines and goals
  • Ability to find issues and problems, generate solutions and choose alternatives using basic root cause analysis
  • Understands HR ServiceNow functionality and is able to communication technical implications of system design.
