Job Description:

HR Policy Lead role responsible for supporting Governance efforts of HR Policy documents across UK, Europe and MEA Cluster, ensuring Policy harmonization and consistency in development of HR Policy and practices in line with Citi's HR Policy objectives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement employment Policies and practices
  • Work with Regulatory Management and Legal teams to analyze regulatory updates
  • Conduct regular review of country employee handbooks
  • Create communications and facilitate training on HR Policies
  • Drive Policy Governance efforts across UK, Europe and MEA Cluster
  • Maintain inventory of HR Policy documents
  • Ensure Policy implementation risk & issues are escalated appropriately
  • Partner with key stakeholders for consistent application of HR policies
  • Coordinate with HR and Employment Legal resources
  • Assess Policy breaches and assign severity level
  • Keep HR Policies Database updated
  • Support CHRO and Labour Relations in drafting internal Policies

Requirements:

  • 6-8+ years of relevant experience in Human Resources
  • Knowledge of employment policies, practices and employment law and regulations
  • Experience in drafting material for a broad audience
  • Prior experience working across multi-jurisdictions preferred
  • Fluent in English (writing and speaking)
  • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Bachelors/University degree
  • Effective team player with strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Ability to build solid relationships at all levels
  • Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Employee Relations, Control & Compliance, or Employment legal with emphasis on policy work
  • Prior experience working across multi-jurisdictions
