Job Description

This role is a strategic hybrid position combining Program Management for Japan and providing People Business Partnering to our Technical support team. Reporting to the VP People - JAPAC Region, you will be a key driver in achieving the Japan People Team's vision to elevate talent and organizational capability.

Job Responsibility

  • Act as a strong contributor to the Japan-specific HR strategy
  • Act as the dedicated partner for the Technical Support Team
  • Lead the localization and facilitation of Global Talent Development programs
  • Partner with the Sales Enablement team to accelerate the ramp-up and success of new hire sales roles
  • Orchestrate programs for New College Graduates (NCG), Internships, and Early Career talent
  • Lead and orchestrate the Local New Hire Orientation program
  • Manage the end-to-end Performance Elevation cycle for the Japan organization
  • Proactively drive Inclusion initiatives within Japan
  • Oversee the administration of global, regional, and Japan-specific statutory benefits
  • Identify unique development needs within Japan, build consensus with key stakeholders, and proactively propose and execute solutions at a global level

Requirements

  • Solid experience in Talent Development or as a People Business Partner within a global, fast-paced organization
  • Proven ability to act as a consultant to managers, particularly in technical or support functions
  • Strong ability to assess talent accurately and provide strategic advice to hiring managers
  • Excellent facilitation skills and the ability to design and execute complex talent programs
  • Ability to understand Japan-specific needs, gain consensus from local stakeholders, and influence global/regional teams
  • Fluent English and Native-level Japanese communication skills are essential

Nice to have

  • Certifications for leadership training (e.g., Strength Finder, Situational Leadership, Crucial Conversation, etc.)
  • Experience in managing NCG (New College Graduate) or Internship programs
  • Design skills for creating unique and engaging training programs
  • Knowledge and experience in Japanese business manner training
