We are seeking a detail-oriented HR & Payroll Specialist to support human resources and payroll operations at our Hartford, WI location. This role is responsible for processing payroll, maintaining employee records, supporting HR functions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations. The ideal candidate is organized, confidential, and experienced in payroll and HR administration.
Job Responsibility:
Process weekly or biweekly payroll accurately and on time
Maintain payroll records, employee files, and HR documentation
Assist with onboarding, new hire paperwork, and employee orientation
Track employee timekeeping, PTO, and attendance records
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Support benefits administration including enrollments and changes
Assist with employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies
Prepare payroll and HR reports for management as needed
Maintain confidentiality of employee information
Requirements:
2+ years of payroll, HR, or administrative experience preferred
Experience with payroll systems and timekeeping software
Knowledge of payroll regulations, tax reporting, and compliance
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
