We are seeking a detail‑oriented HR Payroll & Onboarding Specialist to support core Human Resources operations with a primary focus on payroll processing and new employee onboarding. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees regarding payroll, benefits enrollment, and onboarding procedures while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality. Job Responsibility:
Process bi‑weekly or semi‑monthly payroll accurately and on time
Review and audit timecards, pay adjustments, and deductions
Maintain payroll records and ensure proper documentation
Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll inquiries
Coordinate payroll updates related to new hires, status changes, and terminations
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Coordinate and manage the end‑to‑end onboarding process for new hires
Prepare and process new‑hire paperwork, including I‑9 verification and system setup
Facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding schedules
Enter and maintain accurate employee data in HRIS and payroll systems
Support benefits enrollment and answer employee onboarding questions
Partner with hiring managers to ensure a smooth transition for new employees
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in payroll processing, HR operations, or employee onboarding
Working knowledge of payroll systems and HRIS platforms
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong organizational and time‑management skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
