We are looking for a detail-oriented HR/Payroll Coordinator to join our team in Greeley, Colorado. In this role, you will manage payroll processing and job costing activities while supporting HR administrative functions. This position offers an opportunity to work with multiple systems and contribute to accurate payroll and HR operations in a dynamic construction environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process weekly payroll for approximately 130 hourly employees across three companies using Paycor, ensuring accuracy in time entry and compliance with tax and benefit calculations
  • Conduct thorough reviews and validations of job cost data in Viewpoint Spectrum, dedicating two days per payroll cycle to ensure accurate reporting
  • Enter and reconcile payroll data in Paycor, spending approximately half a day per cycle to maintain precision and reliability
  • Handle HR administrative tasks such as verifying onboarding documentation, managing terminations in payroll and benefits systems, and maintaining organized records
  • Collaborate across multiple software systems, including time tracking tools, Viewpoint Spectrum, and Paycor, to streamline processes and ensure data integrity
  • Support the team by maintaining compliance with payroll-related policies and procedures while addressing inquiries from employees
  • Assist with general administrative duties, including filing and cleanup tasks, to ensure smooth HR operations
  • Provide guidance on payroll and job costing matters, offering expertise to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Facilitate communication with field employees, with bilingual Spanish/English skills preferred to enhance engagement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Background in accounting, with hands-on payroll processing experience as a strong advantage
  • Proficiency in processing payroll for hourly employees, ideally in a construction or project-based environment
  • Familiarity with job costing processes, including reviewing and validating cost data in specialized systems
  • Experience using payroll software such as Paycor and accounting tools like Viewpoint Spectrum
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to work across multiple systems simultaneously
  • At least one year of experience in payroll, HR administration, or accounting roles
