Job Responsibility:
Process payroll with a high degree of accuracy, ensuring all employees are paid correctly and on schedule
Maintain and update payroll records, including garnishments, deductions, and approved timesheets
Utilize HRIS and payroll systems, such as Workday, to manage payroll data effectively
Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll regulations and company policies
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies
Monitor and enforce adherence to payroll deadlines and procedures
Conduct audits to verify payroll accuracy and compliance with legal standards
Provide guidance on payroll processes and support employees with payroll-related concerns
Prepare reports and documentation for internal use and external audits
Stay informed about changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing and HR administration
Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field required
Proficiency in HRIS platforms, particularly Workday or similar systems
Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and compliance requirements
Experience handling payroll garnishments, deductions, and approved timesheets
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with payroll reporting and audit preparation
