Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced HR & Payroll Consultant to join our team on a contract basis in Golden Valley, Minnesota. This role involves managing payroll operations for a mid-sized workforce, processing bonuses and commissions, and supporting benefits administration. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to efficiently handle manual processes while adapting to project needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process biweekly payroll for approximately 380 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Manage bonus and commission calculations and payments
  • Support benefits administration tasks, including updates and coordination with outsourced providers
  • Enter payroll-related changes such as garnishments and bonus adjustments into Asana and other systems
  • Assist with manual payroll processes, including data entry and verification
  • Handle special projects as assigned and provide training to new team members if needed
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll regulations and company policies
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to payroll and benefits
  • Provide timely support and solutions to payroll-related inquiries or issues

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-cycle payroll processing
  • Proficiency in managing multi-state payroll operations
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, including ADP Workforce Now
  • Experience handling payroll for a workforce of over 500 employees
  • Familiarity with leave administration programs such as Family Medical Leave
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to manual processes
  • Comfortable with project-based assignments and training responsibilities
