Alfa Laval is on a transformative HR journey, developing a local HR Service Center in Krakow to streamline processes, deliver efficient HR operations, and provide best-in-class employee support with a focus on self-service and automation. Our HR team in Krakow is well-established with future plans for development. We are looking for a new team member to join us for a period of 18 months. If you are available to start in March or April and eager to make a difference in HR operations, this opportunity is for you! As an HR Partner, you will be responsible for managing Employee Lifecycle activities and continuously improving HR processes, systems, and employee experience. You will be part of the local HR team, reporting to the Regional HR Shared Service Center Manager in Krakow. Job Responsibility:
Provide operational HR support to Alfa Laval employees across Europe
Resolve employee HR queries directly, via phone, or through HR case management (ServiceNow ticketing system)
Organize, manage, and execute New Hire On-boarding activities
Support, coordinate, and deliver online and offline Time & Absence, Benefits, Pension, and Separation processes
Ensure and execute effective HR vendor relationship management
Execute transactional Employee Lifecycle activities in Workday and Vendor’s Payroll System
Prepare various organizational and HR reports
Conduct audits and checks on data changes to ensure compliance
Manage full preparation and processing of employee documents (employment contracts, contract annexes, certificates) and personal files (paper and online)
Ensure HR process alignment with local labor law
Continuously improve HR processes, systems, and overall service in cooperation with HR Business Partners and global HR teams
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience required
Minimum 2 years of HR operational process knowledge and experience
Experience in HR administration (personal files management, benefits administration)
Fluent spoken and written Polish & English
Experience in providing HR support in Poland (must)
HR system knowledge (Workday is a must)
Nice to have:
Fluent spoken and written Dutch is nice to have
Experience in providing HR support in Netherlands (is a plus)
HR case management system knowledge (ServiceNow is a plus)
Knowledge of employment/labor law in Poland and Netherlands (is a plus)
