HR Operations Specialist role at Climeworks, a leading carbon removal provider. The role involves delivering HR operations services, managing HR data, supporting employees, owning HR processes, managing HR tools, and supporting learning & development.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver reliable, compliant and efficient HR Operations services for our workforce in Switzerland and abroad, across the full employee lifecycle, including contract management, onboarding/offboarding, leave and absence administration, reference letters, lifecycle changes and related HR cases
Ensure employee records in Abacus (HRIS) are always up to date and reflect all organizational changes
Support employees in person and via our ticketing system, ensuring timely and service‑oriented responses
Oversee and update core HR processes to ensure full compliance with labor law and internal policies, covering lifecycle‑related workflows
Work confidently with various tools, such as Abacus, ServiceNow, Docusign, Outlook and SharePoint and create/manage purchase requisition requests in SAP
Manage the monthly onboarding program, and support administration for our leadership trainings (locations, communication, invoices)
Requirements:
Completed a commercial apprenticeship (EFZ)
Hold further HR education (e.g., Federal Diploma in Human Resources)
Solid knowledge of Swiss labor law, social insurances and HR administration practices in Switzerland
Hands‑on experience across end‑to‑end employee lifecycle processes
Proficient with various HR tools (e.g., Abacus)
Strong MS Office and overall digital skills
Strong service‑oriented and solution‑focused mindset
Excellent communication, attention to detail, and a structured, reliable working style
Collaborate effectively across functions and support colleagues proactively
Fluent in German and English
