An established and expanding manufacturing and distribution company is hiring an HR Operations Specialist to support the full employee lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the technical side of HR while still engaging with employees and leadership.
Job Responsibility:
Administer employee onboarding, offboarding, and HRIS updates
Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure compliance with California labor laws
Support benefits enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries
Prepare HR reports, metrics dashboards, and audit documentation
Assist with policy updates and internal HR communications
Partner with payroll and finance teams to ensure accurate employee data flow
Provide front-line HR support to supervisors and staff
Requirements:
2–4+ years of progressive HR support or HR operations experience
Working knowledge of California employment regulations
Experience with HRIS platforms (ADP, Paycom, UKG, or similar)
Strong Excel skills including reporting and data validation
Excellent problem-solving and process-improvement mindset
Professional discretion with highly confidential information
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Nice to have:
Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus
Process automation or workflow improvement exposure
