The Robert Half HR Solutions team is partnered with a growing organization to identify a highly responsive and detail-oriented HR Operations Specialist to support a multi-state workforce. This role blends “front-of-house” employee support with “back-of-house” HR operations, serving as a key point of contact for employees while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and consistency across HR processes and systems. Job Responsibility:
Serve as a primary HR point of contact for employees across a multi-state, field-based workforce, handling day-to-day inquiries with professionalism and urgency
Support employee requests including system access/password resets, payroll questions, and benefits inquiries/changes
Deliver exceptional customer service via phone and email, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality responses
Manage and track employee inquiries through a centralized ticketing or employee relations system, ensuring resolution and follow-up
Partner closely with HR leadership and operations teams to support workforce needs and business priorities
Maintain, audit, and validate HR data across systems, ensuring accuracy for reporting, compliance, and analytics
Support HR operations initiatives, including process improvements, system updates, and workflow enhancements
Assist in supporting a large, field-based employee population within a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in HR operations, HR support, or HR generalist roles
Proven experience supporting employees directly with HR-related questions and issue resolution
Strong communication skills with a high level of responsiveness and professionalism
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with competing priorities
High attention to detail with experience in data integrity, reporting, and auditing
Comfortable navigating multiple HR systems and tools
Nice to have:
Experience with employee relations or case management platforms
Experience supporting field-based and multi-state employee populations
Exposure to HRIS platforms (Paycor or similar systems a plus)
