You'll also contribute to constructive social dialogue with unions, representing HR Operations professionally.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and coach an HR Ops team focused on accountability, learning, and excellence
Run end-to-end payroll: accuracy, compliance, timeliness across Belgian sites
Implement localized comp & benefits with global and local partners
Optimize HRIS/payroll tools, automate, and cut manual work
Ensure compliance, reporting, data security, and stay ahead of regulatory changes—tracking social/tax updates to keep us fully compliant
Drive system efficiency and digital improvements
Be the go-to expert for employee questions—with empathy, clear guidance and expertise
Lead constructive interactions with unions and representatives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Accounting or related field (certifications a plus)
8+ years of payroll experience (3+ years in leading teams), ideally multinational
Fluency in French and English is mandatory
Deep Belgian payroll, tax, and labor law expertise
Hands‑on problem-solver, curious, and proactive mindset who thrives on process improvements
Team development experience
comfortable with unions/social relations
Analytical, detail-oriented, data-confident with HRIS tools
