Job Description:

HR Officer role in Manchester City Centre with hybrid working. Long term temporary opportunity for experienced HR professionals to deal with HR operations within a large setting. Hands-on role ensuring best practice is followed and excellent HR service is provided to all colleagues, with people management element overseeing and quality checking the work of the HR administration team.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise and manage a team of HR administrators
Lead team to meet agreed Key Performance Indicators through effective coaching and feedback
Foster an open communication culture
Promote a culture of questioning and innovation to enhance work practises
Adjust resources to meet departmental service level agreements
Oversee payroll functions or manage employee lifecycle administration
Uphold organisation's values and policies
Ensure confidentiality and professionalism
Contribute to organisational development initiatives
Adhere to health and safety legislation

Requirements:

Experience in HR functions, particularly in education or public sector settings
A proactive and enthusiastic individual with strong leadership skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
A commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork
A standard criminal record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service is required
