Job Description

The HR Mini Master Lead role at NTT DATA involves designing, migrating, and validating employee master data for SAP S/4HANA processes. Candidates should have 8-10 years of experience in SAP HCM and at least 1-2 S/4HANA migration projects. Strong data migration and integration skills are essential. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and a focus on data governance and compliance with GDPR. This is a remote position based in India.

Job Responsibility

  • Define and configure HR Mini Master data model in S/4HANA to support business processes without full HCM implementation
  • Identify required info types for mini master setup
  • Configure personnel number ranges, organizational assignments, and user linkage
  • Analyze and extract relevant HR master data from ECC
  • Cleanse, harmonize, and prepare data for migration
  • Execute migration using tools such as SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit or LSMW
  • Validate data consistency post-migration
  • Ensure HR Mini Master supports integration with Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Logistics & Procurement
  • Align employee data with Business Partner approach in SAP S/4HANA
  • Maintain linkage between Personnel Number, User ID, and Business Partner
  • Support integration with authorization concepts
  • Support unit testing, integration testing, and UAT for HR mini master scenarios
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with GDPR and internal policies
  • Define data ownership and governance processes
  • Work closely with HR functional teams, Security & GRC teams, Data migration team, Basis & technical teams

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of SAP HCM (PA/OM) in ECC
  • Experience with HR Mini Master concept in S/4HANA
  • Understanding of Business Partner integration
  • Hands-on experience in ECC to S/4HANA conversions or selective data transitions
  • Familiarity with migration tools like SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit
  • Data mapping, cleansing, and validation expertise
  • Understanding of Info types and HR data structures
  • ALE/IDoc (optional)
  • User-role mapping and authorization integration
  • Experience in Test case creation and execution
  • Data validation and reconciliation
  • Functional documentation
  • 8-10+ years in SAP HCM
  • At least 1–2 S/4HANA migration projects
  • Strong data migration and integration experience
  • Ability to work in global, cross-functional teams

Nice to have

  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors integration
  • Knowledge of SAP GRC / access control
  • Exposure to data privacy regulations (GDPR)
