Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for setting up and managing the full spectrum of HR operations. This role requires a strong understanding of Malaysian labor laws, compliance, and experience in handling both local and foreign workforce management.
Job Responsibility:
Establish and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook
Handle employee relations matters including misconduct, disciplinary actions, show cause letters, and terminations
Ensure full compliance with Malaysian labor laws and statutory requirements (e.g. PCB, EPF, SOCSO)
Manage foreign worker processes including quota applications and compliance
Oversee payroll processes, leave management, and issuance of payslips
Support hiring and workforce planning as the company scales
Work closely with management on HR strategies and organizational development
Maintain proper HR documentation and administrative systems
Requirements:
At least 4 years of experience in a generalist HR role, 2-3 years of HR managerial experience is preferred.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR best practices
Experience handling disciplinary cases and employee relations issues
Exposure to foreign worker management and statutory compliance is a strong advantage
Hands-on, independent, and able to build processes from scratch
Must be able to be based in Seri Kembangan.
Must have some command of Mandarin and strong command of English due to frequent liaising with China stakeholders.
