Dayton area company is looking for an HR Manager who will oversee key human resources functions to support organizational objectives during a critical period. This role includes managing employee relations, recruitment, talent onboarding, benefits administration, and performance management. The HR Manager will help maintain compliance with company policies and employment legislation, serve as a strategic partner to leadership, and foster a positive workplace culture.
Job Responsibility:
Lead recruitment efforts and coordinate onboarding processes for new hires
Administer employee benefits and support payroll activities
Manage employee relations, resolve workplace issues, and guide disciplinary actions while maintaining documentation
Oversee HRIS systems and ensure data accuracy
Implement performance management strategies including reviews and feedback sessions
Partner with leadership to support organizational change and talent planning
Maintain compliance with employment laws and company policies
Requirements:
Proven experience in human resources management
Strong knowledge of benefit administration, recruitment, performance management, and HRIS platforms (such as Workday)
Excellent communication, problem solving, adaptability, and emotional intelligence skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and deliver results within tight deadlines
