Subsea Global Solutions is seeking to hire a seasoned, hands-on Human Resources Manager to design and lead a centralized, professional HR function from our Miami Headquarters. This is a mission-critical leadership role responsible for establishing structure, compliance, workforce discipline, and cultural alignment across our global operations. The HR Manager will design, implement, and oversee the systems, policies, and workforce processes required to ensure regulatory compliance, operational discipline, cost efficiency, and a more consistent, engaged employee experience across all locations. He/She will be expected to support the digital transformation journey of the company by researching, selecting and implementing a suitable HRMS software system. This position will relieve operational and financial leadership from day-to-day HR administration, reduce legal and labor-related risks, and build the structural foundation needed to support Subsea Global’s strategic growth plan, improved workforce productivity, retention, and long-term organizational stability.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and an employee handbook aligned with company values, industry standards, and legal requirements
Support leadership in aligning workforce planning and organizational structure with growth and business strategy
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, OSHA, EEO, etc.), as well as international regulations where Subsea operates
Partner closely with Operations to lead global workforce planning and scheduling across the U.S., Canada, Caribbean, Belgium, Busan, Singapore, and Sydney
Implement standardized workforce management tools (ADP, UKG or similar)
Analyze overtime drivers and implement corrective actions
Improve labor utilization while maintaining compliance and operational readiness
Align staffing allocation with commercial pipeline and job execution forecasts
Lead full-cycle recruitment across administrative, operational, and highly specialized marine roles
Build sustainable recruiting pipelines for divers, project managers, marine engineers, and technical staff
Reduce reliance on external agencies
Oversee international hiring compliance, including visas and work permits
Standardize onboarding programs emphasizing safety, operational readiness, and culture integration
Evaluate and redesign salary structures, sales incentives, and commission plans
Conduct global benchmarking to ensure competitiveness and internal equity
Oversee management of all employee benefits programs
Partner with Finance to execute payroll operations through ADP and drive process improvements
Ensure compliance with all labor, tax, and statutory reporting requirements
Administer PTO (Paid Time Off)
Lead employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, terminations, and offboarding
Develop structured complaint resolution protocols
Conduct regular feedback and engagement surveys, implementing action plans based on results
Partner with senior leadership to address morale gaps and “us vs. them” dynamics
Support leadership coaching and accountability standards
Design and execute retention strategies to reduce turnover, particularly in technical and field positions
Develop employee engagement programs and recognition initiatives that reinforce company values and performance culture
