Job Description

The HR Manager will lead and own the entire HR & Administration function, driving strategic people initiatives while ensuring strong operational excellence across Recruitment, HR Operations, PMS, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Payroll, and Compliance. The role requires a mature HR leader who can scale systems, mentor the existing team, and align people practices with business goals.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and execute HR strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on workforce planning, organization design, and talent strategy
  • Build HR governance, policies, and frameworks that support scalability and consistency
  • Own end-to-end recruitment strategy for technical and non-technical roles
  • Drive employer branding, sourcing channels, campus hiring, and referral programs
  • Ensure quality, speed, and cost-effectiveness of hiring
  • Oversee onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exit processes
  • Ensure accurate employee records, documentation, and HRIS usage
  • Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve PMS aligned to business KPIs
  • Enable goal setting, mid-year reviews, appraisals, and performance calibration
  • Coach managers on performance conversations and development planning
  • Design salary structures, grading, and annual increment frameworks
  • Manage variable pay, incentives, and benefits administration
  • Ensure internal equity and market competitiveness
  • Identify competency gaps and build annual training calendar
  • Drive leadership development, technical, and behavioural training programs
  • Measure training effectiveness and ROI
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
  • Oversee statutory compliances (PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity, CLRA, Shops & Establishment, etc.)

  • Mentor, upskill, and performance-manage the HR & Admin team

Requirements

  • MBA / MSW in HR or equivalent
  • 10–15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 4–5 years in a managerial/lead role
  • Prior experience in IT / Software / Technology services environment preferred
  • Strong expertise in Recruitment, HR Operations, PMS, C&B, L&D, Payroll, and Compliance
  • Hands-on experience with HRMS / Payroll systems
  • Good understanding of Indian labour laws
  • Ability to design frameworks, policies, and SOPs from scratch
  • Strategic thinking with strong execution capability
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
  • Strong communication skills (English & Tamil preferred)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing organization
