We are hiring for a HR Manager (Melaka) to lead the full spectrum of Human Resources functions in a complex and stakeholder-intensive environment. This role requires a confident HR professional who can effectively partner with senior stakeholders, including academic and leadership teams, while driving HR best practices and compliance.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and manage end-to-end Human Resources functions including employee relations, performance management, and HR operations
Act as a key HR business partner to senior stakeholders, including academic professionals and leadership teams
Manage complex employee relations and industrial relations (IR) matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary cases
Drive the development and implementation of HR policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks
Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws and internal standards
Support organizational development initiatives, workforce planning, and change management
Oversee HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management
Build strong relationships across departments and influence stakeholders in a professional and effective manner
Requirements:
Proven experience in a HR Manager / Senior HR Generalist role
Strong capability in managing challenging stakeholders and navigating complex organizational environments
Solid knowledge of industrial relations (IR) and Malaysian employment law
Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Mature, resilient, and confident in handling senior-level stakeholders
Willingness to be based in Melaka (fully onsite)
