We’re partnering with a large, well-established organization to hire an HR Manager, Talent Acquisition Programs. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on elevating and aligning Talent Acquisition across a complex North American business. This position is located in Edmonton, and relocation assistance is available. You’ll step into an environment with strong foundations already in place. The focus is on driving consistency, improving processes, and influencing stakeholders to move forward together. You’ll lead a growing team while working closely with senior leadership to enhance hiring practices, candidate experience, and employer brand. This is a fully in-office role in Edmonton, ideal for someone who thrives on collaboration, visibility, and building strong relationships across the business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead Talent Acquisition programs and initiatives across North America, ensuring consistency and quality across all hiring practices
  • Partner with senior leaders to influence hiring strategy and drive alignment across business units
  • Oversee and develop a growing TA team, providing guidance, structure, and mentorship
  • Enhance candidate experience and employer branding across the organization
  • Manage vendor relationships and external recruitment partnerships
  • Leverage data, metrics, and reporting to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Explore and implement new tools and technologies, including AI and assessment platforms
  • Continuously evaluate and refine TA processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and outcomes

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience with strong exposure to Talent Acquisition
  • Must have proven experience operating in a large, complex organization
  • Demonstrated success leading TA programs or initiatives at a large scale
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop team members
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with confidence working with senior stakeholders
  • Experience with HR systems, reporting, and recruitment tools
  • exposure and interest in AI and modern sourcing tools is an asset
  • Background in a matrixed or global organization is required
