Job Description

A growing services company local to Windsor, CT is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their team. This role will function as a strategic HR Business Partner, working closely with leadership to drive key human resources initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in employee relations, change management, and mergers & acquisitions, along with a hands-on approach to HR operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Act as a trusted HR Business Partner to leadership, providing strategic guidance and support
  • Lead employee relations efforts, including conflict resolution and performance management
  • Drive and support change management initiatives across the organization
  • Play a key role in mergers and acquisitions, including integration and organizational alignment
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Oversee HR operations, policies, and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Partner with leadership on talent development, workforce planning, and organizational strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 6+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Proven experience in change management initiatives
  • Direct experience supporting mergers and acquisitions activity
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, compliance, and employee relations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment
