Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to build and strengthen the HR function for a manufacturing unit. The role will focus on HR team development, process standardization, system optimization, workforce planning, and creating scalable HR practices aligned with factory operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Build, lead, and develop the factory HR team and define clear roles, KRAs, and accountability.
  • Design and implement standardized HR policies, SOPs, and operational processes.
  • Improve HR systems, documentation, reporting, and workflow efficiency.
  • Drive HR digitalization, HRMS implementation, attendance/payroll integration, and process automation.
  • Develop structured recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management systems.
  • Create employee engagement and retention initiatives for factory workforce.
  • Ensure statutory compliance related to labor laws, PF, ESI, Factory Act, and audits.
  • Strengthen manpower planning, succession planning, and organizational structure.
  • Coordinate with plant leadership to improve productivity, discipline, and workforce stability.
  • Establish data-driven HR reporting and MIS dashboards.

Requirements

  • Experience: 7-15 Years
  • Qualification: MBA HR / MSW / PGDM HR
  • Strong experience in manufacturing/factory HR operations
  • Expertise in HR process improvement and system implementation
  • Experience in team building and organizational development.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on experience with HRMS, payroll systems, and HR analytics

Nice to have

  • Experience in scaling HR functions in growing manufacturing organizations
  • Exposure to process excellence, SOP creation, or HR transformation projects
  • Ability to drive change management and operational efficiency
