Come join us as our HR Manager, EMEA. You'll be based in Budapest and responsible for our teams across EMEA. This role ensures effective execution of global People strategies while adapting to regional requirements, and acts as the primary advisor to regional leadership on organizational health, talent relations, and employee experience. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational responsibility. We need someone who can conquer any obstacle using solid critical thinking skills, develop smart and scalable solutions, and lead execution/operational excellence to make an impact.

Job Responsibility

  • Partner with regional and global leaders to align people strategy with business goals
  • Lead complex employee matters and act as escalation point for high-risk issues
  • Drive initiatives across performance management, engagement, and organizational design
  • Support change management, restructuring, and workforce planning
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Recruiting, Finance, and Legal
  • Bring regional insights into global People programs and policies
  • Guide a distributed People Operations & Workplace Experience team (3–4 members)
  • Ensure seamless execution of onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
  • Maintain compliance and consistency across policies and employee relations
  • Identify opportunities to scale, standardize, and improve processes
  • Oversee office operations and vendor partnerships to enhance workplace experience

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HR / People roles, spanning both business partnering and operations
  • Experience working in a (preferably U.S.-based), fast-paced organization
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and guide teams
  • Strong knowledge of Hungarian employment law and fluency in both Hungarian and English is required
  • Experience supporting multi-country regions, ideally across EMEA
  • Solid background in employee relations, organizational design, and change management
  • Ability to seamlessly switch between strategic thinking and hands-on execution
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence senior leaders
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action
  • Operational excellence with a focus on scalable, efficient processes
