The HR Manager is responsible for leading and delivering Human Resources strategy and operations for a manufacturing facility in Saint-Ouen-L'Aumone, with additional HR support for the Netherlands, Poland and the European Savory Flavors office in Strasbourg. This role partners closely with leadership to ensure effective labor relations, regulatory compliance, and the alignment of HR initiatives with global business strategy.
Job Responsibility:
Guide the daily HR operations and HR strategy across several European locations (>200 employees), aligned with Global HR objectives and in close collaboration with other HR colleagues
Partner with leadership on workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, new hire, termination, promotional and merit cycles
Oversee and hands on support to core HR operations such as payroll, compensation, benefits, compliance, and HR systems, managing an HR generalist report
Coach managers and teams on HR best practices, leadership, and ethical conduct while fostering positive labor-management relationships, organizational policies, procedures and legal regulations
Requirements:
Experience in human resources management, with a focus on supporting a production or operations environment
Familiarity with workplace policies, labor laws, and union and labor relations
A clear and calm approach to problem-solving, with a focus on people and process
Ability to balance daily HR needs with longer-term improvement opportunities
Comfort working onsite with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills, both in English and French, with the ability to connect across all levels
