Job Description:

The HR Operations Manager will be responsible for leading a team of HR professionals to provide day-to-day HR services to employees across multiple business units in various sites of Auburn Hills. This role will work closely with the HR Business Partners and other key stakeholders to ensure that HR services are delivered in a timely and efficient manner, and that they are aligned with the needs of the business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead a team of HR professionals responsible for providing HR services to multiple business units & Corp. functions at WHQ & PTC site
  • Develop service level agreement and performance metrics
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal customers
  • Develop and implement annual employee engagement plan and initiatives
  • Train up the team to be able to respond to employee inquiries
  • Develop, maintain and improve site related policies and processes
  • Manage the site's HR budget
  • Conduct regular audits of HR processes and procedures
  • Drive consistency of HR practices on sites across multiple BUs
  • Conduct cross BU training needs analysis, plan, source and organize trainings
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and service providers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in HR
  • 3+ years of experience in leading HR teams
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures, employment law
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to build and manage high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Previous manufacturing experience

Nice to have:

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Experience working in a large, complex organization preferred
