Are you a detail-driven, analytical student with a passion for HR and people operations? We’re looking for a smart and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our Amsterdam team. You’ll be part of a dynamic, international HR crew and gain hands-on experience across multiple HR disciplines including HR Operations, Rewards and Recruitment. This role offers a great opportunity to develop a broad HR skill set in a fast-paced, pan-European environment while supporting the HR team in delivering efficient, people-focused processes that help attract, engage, and retain talent.
Job Responsibility:
Support the HR Operations team across the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract administration, capturing employee changes in the HR system, and offboarding
Respond to staff queries related to HR systems in a timely and professional manner
Support the HR Specialist by maintaining and collecting all required documentation for monthly payroll processing
Assist the Compensation and Benefits Manager with reward-related projects and initiatives
Help with data preparation, reporting, and analysis related to compensation and benefits
Contribute to policy reviews, benchmarking activities, and process improvements
Screen applications and CVs according to role requirements
Support the recruiter with candidate communication and interview scheduling
Update and maintain the recruitment tracker to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
Support HR data reporting, dashboards, and data accuracy across systems
Assist with HR process improvements and documentation
Requirements:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business, Economics, Data Analytics or a related field
Must be enrolled as a full-time student (40 hours a week) for the duration of the internship
Strong analytical skills
Detail-oriented and comfortable working with data
Excel is a must
Familiarity with PowerPoint and Teams is a plus
Highly organized and deadline-driven
Can manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
A great team attitude
Team player, highly motivated and friendly
Hands-on self-starter who works confidently and independently
Curious about how reward strategies can drive business success and employee engagement
Must have full right to work in the Netherlands or the EU
