BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for a dynamic, results driven individual to join as a HR Intern (M/F/D) at our production plant in Viana, Portugal.

Job Responsibility

  • Administrative Support to HR Processes
  • Provide administrative support to employee hiring, internal mobility, and termination processes
  • Prepare, organize, and send HR documentation to employees
  • Manage the administrative aspects of employment termination
  • Ensure proper physical and digital archiving of HR documentation
  • Provide administrative support to the onboarding process for new employees
  • Prepare onboarding documentation and welcome kits
  • Support the logistical organization of onboarding activities
  • Conduct HR administrative onboarding
  • HR Data and Systems Maintenance
  • Create and maintain positions in HR systems
  • Maintain up-to-date employee information in Workday
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of HR data
  • Support internal audits by providing and validating HR data and records
  • Administrative Support to the Training Area
  • Provide administrative support to training management activities
  • Provide logistical support for training sessions
  • Register and update training information in relevant systems
  • Ensure physical and digital archiving of training documentation
  • Support the recording and follow-up of training effectiveness and satisfaction evaluations
  • Communication and employer branding
  • Support internal HR communication activities
  • Provide occasional support to employer branding initiatives and HR events

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources Related areas
  • Previous experience in administrative support, preferably within Human Resources
  • Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is considered an advantage
  • Exposure to employee lifecycle administration (hire, data maintenance, termination) is desirable
  • Experience working with HR Information Systems, preferably Workday or similar platforms
  • Ability to manage and maintain accurate employee data
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

Nice to have

  • Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to employee lifecycle administration (hire, data maintenance, termination)
