Job Description:

This role focuses on supporting manufacturing operations by developing effective onboarding programs, managing compensation structures, and fostering employee relations. The ideal candidate will excel in collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance workforce engagement and ensure compliance with labor regulations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and implement tailored onboarding programs to help new hires integrate into manufacturing workflows and organizational culture
  • Deliver orientation sessions and training on workplace safety, compliance, and role-specific skills for production employees
  • Partner with managers, safety teams, and operational leaders to optimize onboarding processes for both hourly and salaried staff
  • Gather and analyze feedback from new employees to identify areas for improvement in onboarding and address potential challenges
  • Facilitate annual performance evaluations, providing guidance to managers on assessing and improving employee contributions
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and job evaluations to ensure competitive compensation for manufacturing roles
  • Oversee pay adjustments for production employees, including merit-based increases, shift differentials, and overtime rates, while adhering to labor laws
  • Collaborate with finance and payroll departments to ensure accurate compensation and timely payments
  • Track and report on employee compensation trends, wage analysis, and budget alignment within manufacturing operations.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in HR software such as ADP Workforce Now, Dayforce, and Ceridian
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, workplace compliance, and labor laws
  • Experience managing compensation structures and conducting salary benchmarking
  • Familiarity with benefits administration and FMLA processes
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and address employee concerns
  • Ability to deliver effective training programs tailored to manufacturing environments
  • Analytical skills for interpreting data and generating actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
