Our partner is a global leader in urban mobility and vertical transportation solutions, specializing in the manufacturing and maintenance of elevators, escalators, and moving walkways. We are looking for a proactive HR Generalist to join a close-knit team for a long-term maternity cover (minimum 28 months). This is a versatile role where you will manage the full employee lifecycle, balancing operational excellence with strategic retention initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
End-to-End Lifecycle Management: Handling everything from contract preparation and onboarding to offboarding
Retention & Attrition Management: Actively managing turnover by conducting exit interviews and proposing/implementing retention strategies
Payroll Preparation: Managing monthly payroll data and coordinating with the external payroll provider
Benefits & Compensation: Overseeing the Cafeteria system, incentive schemes, and other corporate initiatives
HR Projects: Participating in local and regional projects (e.g., Performance Management, Talent Development, Compensation reviews)
Employee Relations: Acting as a trusted partner for both employees and managers
maintaining a positive, collaborative culture
Administration: Keeping electronic and paper-based personnel files up to date and supervising the HR Intern’s work
Requirements:
4-5 years of professional experience in HR Generalist roles (preferably within an SSC/Multinational environment)
Degree in HR, Economics, or a related field
Deep knowledge of Hungarian Labor Law and payroll-related regulations
High-level Excel skills are a must
Experience with SAP SuccessFactors is an advantage
Fluent English and Hungarian (both written and verbal) is essential for international cooperation
Proactive, precise, and able to work independently
